Testimonials
Below you can see just a few of the happy clients we have worked with.
New firepit and sandstone bench seating in our garden.
"We are so incredibly delighted with our new firepit and sandstone bench seating in our garden built by Malcolm Conway of Bridge of Allan Stone. Malcolm has been incredibly professional from design stage through to build and completion- a true master of his craft. He worked from our embarrassingly basic drawings and created a beautiful, perfectly symmetrical firepit using new sandstone, and was happy to recycle old sandstone bricks from our garden for the bench bases. The seats and steps were formed from custom cut slabs- he left an immaculately tidy site every day and he and his team were a real pleasure to have around."
Malcolm also fitted 2 slate and marble fireplace hearths for my clients- solid and polished to a mirror finish! We can’t recommend him highly enough!

Basement Conversion in Kings Park.
"We are extremely pleased with the work you undertook for us on the extension to our home in Stirling. We are delighted with how beautiful the stonework looks and how in keeping it is with the original 1896 property.
Our heartfelt thanks to you for all your design input, patience and passion for the project. It goes without saying that we are also very grateful for completing the project on time and under budget. Keep up the good work!"

"Malcolm has carried out several varied projects for us and we would not hesitate to recommend his services as an articulate craftsman. His masonry and detail to attention is exemplary. In addition, his team are very much team players on site and pay attention to previous and subsequent trades."

Gable end re pointing.
"Malcolm did a great job, the work was competitively priced, undertaken safely and efficiently and the end product was of a very high standard. It was clear from the outset that Malcolm understood the requirements for undertaking renovation works to this 150 year old listed building. Overall very satisfied with the service provided, and perhaps more importantly Historic Scotland were happy with the end product too!"

Garage in Bridge of Allan.
"In 2012 we decide to build a new garage, but to be in keeping with our original Victorian stone built house. After trying several Stonemasons, who did not reach our required level of satisfaction , we stumbled across Malcolm Conway.
Malcolm was punctual, clean, tidy and reliable. He delivered a first class job with little or no fuss and well organised. I would have no hesitation in recommending Malcolm for any stone work, large or small.
I understand there are several pictures on his site, please study and make your own mind up. My wife and I are very happy with the final result which matches in well with the original Victorian house.
A first class job from an A! Tradesman."
